Andrew Adams, a safety with the National Football League’s Tennessee Titans, was born on October 28, 1992. (NFL). At Connecticut, he played collegiate football. During his time at the university, Adams started 33 games, including all 12 in 2014 and all 13 in 2015. In his senior year with the Huskies, he was one of four captains. In his final season as a Huskie, he had the most tackles (103), along with three interceptions and seven passes defended.

Adams was an undrafted free agent who was signed by the New York Giants on May 1, 2016, to a three-year, $1.62 million deal.

The New York Giants released Adams as part of their final roster cuts on September 3, 2016, but the following day they added him to their practice squad. Adams was moved from the practice squad to the active roster on September 23, 2016.
