Corina Diehl Dies in a Fatal Accident Crash

The fatality of a car accident that occurred in Madison County on Saturday night has been identified as Corina Diehl of Middletown, Indiana.

On Saturday night in Anderson, a two-vehicle collision claimed the life of “Nina” Diehl, 49.

Reports state that around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Diehl was driving a car on Scatterfield Road in Anderson near Purdue Parkway when, for an unknown cause, the car left the road. The car then struck a support arm for a railroad crossing before slamming into a Chrysler Pacifica.

Diehl was taken to a local hospital, where she eventually died from blunt force trauma injuries sustained in the collision.

The Chrysler Pacifica’s driver did not sustain any significant wounds.

The accident’s reason is still being looked into.
