Tragic Incident Involving Maulana Tariq Jamil’s Son, Asim Jameel

In a heartbreaking turn of events, it has been reported that Asim Jameel, the son of the globally renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, passed away under tragic circumstances in his hometown of Tulamba. Asim Jameel’s life was cut short due to a gunshot wound to his chest.

Following the incident, Asim Jameel was urgently transported to a hospital in critical condition within the Tulamba Tehsil of the Khanewal district in Punjab. According to the local police, Asim Jameel apparently shot himself in the chest and was taken to the Talamba Rural Health Center in critical condition, where, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. DSP Mian Chanun Salimmarth has stated that the motive behind Asim Jameel’s act of self-harm remains undisclosed.

He clarified that Asim’s death was accidental, although no further details were provided. Maulana Tariq Jamil expressed, “My son Asim Jamil passed away today in Tulamba. This accidental death has cast a shadow of grief over us. We humbly request you to remember us in your prayers during this sorrowful time. May Allah grant my son a high place in Jannat al-Firdous.”
