A. John Blair, III, MD, is a health care and technology executive with broad experience across the health care industry including clinical practice, hospital planning and governance, revenue cycle management, managed care, public health, and health care informatics.

Dr. Blair is the CEO of MedAllies, a health information service provider company established in 2001 and based in Fishkill, NY. MedAllies securely delivers vital health information to impact care by operating multiple nationwide interoperable networks supporting all healthcare constituents. MedAllies focuses on optimizing the adoption and usage of healthcare interoperability for the people, systems and services connected to our MedAllies networks, eliminating information care gaps, and fostering a truly interoperable and connected future.

From 2000 to 2015, Dr. Blair served as president of Taconic IPA (TIPA), a 5,000-member physician group at the forefront of transforming health care delivery in the Hudson Valley through meaningful use of health IT and pay-for-performance incentives.

Until 2005, Dr. Blair was the Managing Partner at Hudson Valley Surgical Associates, a multi-specialty surgical group.
