Matthew J. Bonanno, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic plastic surgery. As a second-generation plastic surgeon, he has had vast exposure to both the artistic and medical aspects of the field since an early age. Dr. Bonanno is an active member of many respected local and national medical societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, where he serves on the Government Affairs Committee, the By-Laws Committee, and the Cosmetic Surgery Program Committee. Dr. Bonanno also serves on the Medical Ethics Committee, Medical Practice Ethics Committee, and Professional Medical Conduct Committee for the Medical Society of the State of New York and he is currently Secretary of the New York County Medical Society.
