FINN RONKEN KILLED IN PEDESTRIAN-MOTORCYCLE CRASH

Last night, a collision in northeastern Iowa that also claimed the life of an Iowa man claimed the life of a guy from southeast Minnesota.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office reports that around 7:20 PM, Finn Ronken, 22, of Canton, Iowa, was struck by a motorbike when he was walking on a rural road just south of the Minnesota-Iowa border. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the motorcyclist was moving quickly.

Wyant Tibbals, a Cresco, Iowa, resident who is 21 years old, was the motorcycle’s driver. Both individuals suffered mortal wounds.

On Winneshiek County Road A14, a deadly collision happened approximately halfway between Canton and Cresco.
