M. Porter, a resident of Douglas Jamie was educated at Douglas Public Schools after being born on February 8, 1988, in Milford.

He labored at the WHP Trucking and Excavating company with his father and brother

Fishing, riding dirt bikes, playing disc golf, and hiking were some of his best pastimes. He adored music as well.
Jamie is survived by his siblings Joshua Porter (Wendy) of Uxbridge, Jeremy Porter (Sarah) of Douglas, Samantha Drew of South Carolina, and Kayla Drew of Douglas, as well as by his parents Bill and Teena.

He is also survived by his best friend Bubba, a close friend named Vinnie, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service for Jamie will be conducted on March 22, 2023, at Valley Chapel, 14 Hunter Road, beginning at 11 a.m.
