Jenel Johnson Died in a Fatal Car Crash on Rush Lima Roa

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Jenel Johnson was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Rush Lima Road in Rush on Sunday afternoon.

Just before 4 p.m., one of the vehicles on Rush Lima Road, commonly known as Route 15A, swerved over the center line and into the path of another. Lt. Michael Thomas of the sheriff’s office stated that Sunday. The driver of the eastbound car, Jenel Johnson, 32, of Lima, Livingston County, passed away at the site. Both the driver of the second vehicle and a passenger from the eastbound vehicle were taken for medical attention to a nearby hospital.

Deputies are still looking into the collision.
