She is a divorcee who has been married twice so far. She was first married to actor, Brad Pitt. They were married from 2000 to 2005. In 2015, she got married to actor  Justin Theroux. They parted ways in 2017.

She is the daughter of John Aniston and Nancy Dow. Her father was a Greek-born American actor who played Victor Kiriakis on the NBC daytime drama series Days of Our Lives, which he originated in July 1985 and played on and off for 37 years, until his death in 2022. Her mother was an American actress who appeared in a small number of films and television shows.  She passed away in 2016.

She is the only child of her parents hence, she has no biological siblings. Having said that, she has two half-brothers from her parents’ other marriages. She has an older brother John T. Melick from a mother’s previous marriage. She also has a younger half-brother, Alex Aniston from a father’s marriage after his failed married marriage with the actress’s mother.
