Christopher Eberts, the husband of Kristin Tutor Eberts, is a former studio executive turned independent producer in Hollywood. His films include “Lucky Number Slevin” and “Lord of Wars.”

Eberts, a Canadian native, raised in Montreal, Quebec, studied at McGill University and earned a BA in English, Film, and Communications.

He spent four years in the merchant banking division of Salomon Brothers in New York City before working in the film and television industry.

An experienced professional in the film industry, Christopher has produced films such as “Lucky Number Slevin,” featuring Josh Hartnett, Bruce Willis, Lucy Liu, Morgan Freeman, and Sir Ben Kingsley, directed by Paul McGuigan; “Lord of War,” starring Nicolas Cage and Ethan Hawke, directed by Andrew Niccol; “The Big White,” starring Robin Williams, and many more.

A fascinating fact about Eberts is that he also served as executive producer of the 2002 Academy Award-nominated documentary “Prisoner of Paradise.”

Before launching his own production company, “Orum Road Entertainment,” Eberts was Vice President of Production at Twentieth Century Fox, responsible for all aspects of feature film development and production. In 2007, he co-founded the production company Rifkin-Eberts with agent Arnold Rifkin.

A grand jury in Illinois also indicted Kristin’s husband, Eberts, on seven counts of wire fraud and three counts of money laundering in 2013. After pleading guilty, he was given almost four years in jail. After Eberts appealed, the court’s verdict was upheld two years later.
