On Monday, September 25, 2023, a motorbike accident claimed the life of LaTonja ‘Certified’ Hastings, a fellow rider and sister.

The Bad Girl Biker Clique WMC and TRU Pearl’s SC Dallas members, as well as the entire bicycling community as a whole, have been horrified and devastated by this incident.

LaTonja ‘Certified’ Hastings was a ferocious and passionate biker sister. She was a part of the TRU Pearl’s SC Dallas and the Bad Girl Biker Clique WMC, groups that support the advancement and empowerment of women in the riding scene.

LaTonja reflected the essence of these organisations; she liked the sense of adventure that motorcycling offered and was always willing to take to the open road with her fellow ladies. The members of her club and the entire biker community are left with a void in their hearts as a result of her passing.

LaTonja’s passion for motorcycles was more than simply a pastime; it was a way of life. She became well-known for wearing red riding garb and red boots with heels. Her bicycle had white lightning bolts and yellow accents.
