Michael Lerner, an American actor, was born on June 22, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, his full name is Michael C. Lerner.  He turned 81 in June 2022, and he died in April current year. He fell in love with acting early in his career and pursued it, rising the ranks to become one of the most in-demand actors.

Lerner made his first appearance on television at the age of 13 as a “quiz kid” on a program hosted by a nearby sportscaster. Alongside Joel Zwick, he played Willy Loman in a Brooklyn College production of Death of a Salesman.

In addition to playing Mr. Greenway in Godzilla, Mr. Greenway in Elf, The Warden in No Escape, Phil Gillman in Amos & Andrew, and Arnold Rothstein in Eight Men Out, Lerner also portrayed Mayor Ebert in Roland Emmerich’s Godzilla.

Among Lerner’s latter efforts were the holiday comedies Elf and Poster Boy as well as television shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Entourage.
