Missing Jason Tresham Found Dead in Chesterfield Hotel

The Friday body that was discovered to be that of a missing Chesterfield man has been identified.

Police reported that Jason E. Tresham, 48, was last seen on the morning of June 27 at a hotel he was visiting in Colonial Heights’ 15800 block of Woods Edge Rd. According to the authorities, the family reported Tresham missing on June 29.

On July 7, officers responded to the 2000 block of Ruffin Mill Road, just three minutes’ drive from the motel where Tresham was allegedly staying, after learning that a man’s body had been discovered nearby in the woods, according to the police.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was contacted to identify the body, and according to the police, Tresham’s body was discovered there.

No signs of wrongdoing, according to the police, but Tresham’s death is still being looked into.
