On November 23, 2022, Richard J Kuhns, 101, of Gahanna, passed away. On August 31, 1921, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Norman and Wilda Kuhns, he was born.
Richard was a devoted husband and father who had been an active member of St. Matthew the Apostle Church for many years. Every room he entered was illuminated by his smile. Richard liked to play cards, read newspapers and magazines, watch the Steelers, and take pictures of the people and places he loved. His kind heart, undeniable humor, and wit touched many lives. He is greatly missed.

Richard was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary E. Kuhns, his son Bill Rodgers, his siblings Charles, Howard, Raymond, Joseph, Mary Ellen George, and Audrey Williams. He was also predeceased by his parents.
His devoted children Jan Deichler, Mary Ellen Cunningham, Rick Rodgers, Tim (Cathy Weissberg), and Joe (Robin) Kuhns, as well as his daughters-in-law Donna Rodgers and Cindy Rodgers, as well as his 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends, survive him.
