Cho married American entertainer and professional comedian John Elroy Sanford, popularly known as Redd Foxx. Two years after Foxx’s third divorce from Yun Chi Chung, the couple met at Bally’s Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. They married in 1991 at Little Church of the West in Las Vegas, after dating for a long period, with a reception at the Hacienda Hotel.
On October 11, 1991, three months after their marriage, Foxx passed away. When Foxx took a break from his practice while filming The Royal Family arrangement, he had a heart attack and died on the set.
